§ 102-2. Exclusions.

This chapter does not apply to:

(1)

The transportation of a person by a vehicle for hire licensed by another governmental entity from a point outside the city to a destination inside the city, if the vehicle for hire leaves the city without receiving a passenger inside the city;

(2)

A taxicab service operated under state or federal authority which services are not subject to the city's regulatory authority; or

(3)

Any regional transportation agency or authority created under state statutes, or its agents or assigns under contract, that enters into an interlocal agreement with the city to provide paratransit services to mobility impaired residents of the city.
