§ 50-1. Library system created.

Pursuant to the Texas State Constitution and section 177 of the City Charter, there is hereby created and established, in and for the city the McKinney Public Library System. The free public libraries of the McKinney Public Library System shall consist of the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library, and the John and Judy Gay Library. In this chapter the term "library" refers to a library within the system.
