§ 81-90. Definitions.

For purposes of this article, the term "officer" shall include any elected or appointed official of the city, and the term "employee" shall include all employees of the city and is further defined below:

(a)

Any member of the city council;

(b)

A member of a city board, commission or committee created by the city;

(c)

A volunteer, as approved by the operating department and the personnel department, that is working under directions of an employee of the city; or

(d)

A member of the board of directors, an officer, or any employee of a corporation formed under Vernon's Ann. Civ. St. art. 5190.6, § 4A.
